In the first days of the new year 2024, from 5th to 6th of January, BG Media successfully completed a volunteer program called “Spreading Warmth and Love for the New Year- Towards Difficult Upland Villages” at Pha Khom village , Pha Phat commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An. This is a journey that not only brings Tet gifts to disadvantaged families but is also an opportunity to share love and connect the community.
A Journey Through Hardship
The journey from Vinh City to Pha Khom Ferry spans over 300 kilometers through winding, rugged mountain roads. Each member of BG Media felt the excitement and joy of reaching these remote villages on the Nghệ An border. This was not just a physical journey but a heartfelt passage of love, sharing, and overflowing emotions as they personally delivered meaningful New Year gifts to the children and villagers of Pha Khom.
Warm gifts were given
In Pha Khom village, BG Media donated more than 40 gifts, including cotton blankets, rice, milk and other essential foods, along with direct cash support to households in difficulty. Each gift not only carries material significance but also contains affection and care from the BG Media team for the highland people. In particular, BG Media personally delivered more than 300 new warm coats to students at Pha Phat Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities. These warm coats not only help children get through the harsh winter but are also a gift that motivates them and encourages them to continue their efforts in studying to build a brighter future.
A child’s last bud is always the greatest spiritual gift
The volunteer trip not only brought joy and happiness to the children, but also left a deep impression in the hearts of each BG Media member. The bright smiles, the joyful eyes of the children and the happiness of the villagers created extremely meaningful experiences, affirming the spirit of “love is sharing, giving is forever”.
The success of this volunteer program comes not only from the contribution of BG Media but also from the enthusiastic support of individuals, local leaders, and schools. BG Media would like to sincerely thank everyone who accompanied and supported the program to run smoothly, contributing to spreading kindness and positive life values to the community.
Curtains Draw on a Journey
Though this journey of charity has come to a close, it is certainly not the end. BG Media remains committed to carrying forward the tradition of compassion and solidarity, organizing even more charitable programs to bring greater value to society. These small gifts today will serve as encouragement, helping children confidently step forward in their education and providing villagers with a fuller, better life in the future.
